DEEPENINGS
Morphology of the object:
The piece, a mask in high-relief represents Gorgona-Meduza with oval face, young and pathetic, large almond eyes, wide open and with marked eye ball, coloured in antiquity, the eyebrows slightly marked, long nose, sharp, dilated nostrils, half-opened mouth, small regulated teeth, he corners of lips slightly headed down in an expression of hardly dissimulated rage, and the beautiful hair, with locks neatly arranged. There are some wings decorated above the temples. On the edges, hidden under the locks of hair there are three iron rivets to nail for design.
