DEEPENINGS |
Morphology of the object: |
Has an elongated shape, with the lateral edges arched. The lower edge is curved, with a sharp, pierced, triangular elongation. Above the inscription field we can see a central rib. In the upper part we can see a sharp tip and two sided curved elongations: the sides are decorated with parallel ribs. The limits of the field’s inscription have been traced in the lower part as a final operation in its fabrication. The last row has been written over the lower edge of the inscription field, which shows that there is not necessarily a connection between the making of the piece and the writing of the text, so the inscription could have been made outside the workshop. In r. 1 of the third letter we cans see a failed attempt or a wiped letter and we can not see if it was a P like in r. 4 or F like in r. 5. The ending in F seems more likely.
